About University

The University of Chester started off with humble beginnings as a teacher training college in 1839. Now, 182 years later, the University grew to become a higher education provider with campuses in Chester, Shrewsbury, and Warrington. We offer more than 200 honor’s programs in our campuses, and they place emphasis on practical learning with industry placements and overseas opportunities.

We placed 2nd in the International Students category at the 2020 WhatUni? Student Choice Awards, which is testament to our dedication in providing international students with the best support and study experience. Moreover, we have more than 15,000 students from 130 countries worldwide, making the University a diverse and safe learning environment for international students.
