As a fresh graduate from Segi College Subang, studying and living in Malaysia has been great. I had the opportunity to intern at GoCar, a popular car-sharing platform in Malaysia. I met many friendly colleagues there. They were very helpful to show me the ropes when I first joined. I’m grateful for their assistance.
Malaysia is a beautiful country with many things to explore. The food is amazing, because there is so much variety! I never got tired of trying something new.
What I enjoyed most from my time in Malaysia was how I could meet people of different race and nationalities in Segi College. It was an eye-opening experience for me to interact with people of different cultures. I even had the chance to join their events and celebrate with them in college! Subang Jaya is especially popular for the food, entertainment centres and universities, so many international students from all over the world come here to study.

Studying in Taylor’s University was a good experience to meet people from all over the world. Students from Indonesia, Bangladesh, Germany, Korea, and China would come here to study. I liked that the university had active clubs and societies for international students like me to connect and create our social groups. It really helped us to settle in and feel more at home.

I chose to study in Malaysia because of its reputation as a growing education hub. With established partnerships with universities from Australia, Britain, and the UK, Malaysia offers internationally recognized degrees that are of the same modules and criteria as the degree in UK. The difference is that studying in Malaysia is much more affordable. Not only can I every month, I can still travel around the country while furthering my studies. It’s a win-win situation.
Studying in Malaysia was an enjoyable experience. It is a country of many ethnicities and races, but all of them are very accepting of one another. It was an interesting experience for me to learn about their traditions and understand how it shaped their culture. The best part is, they really know their food! They’re more than happy to introduce you to the best restaurants and must-try dishes in town. You can’t go wrong with them!
I was able to experience a smooth enrolment process with Eduloco’s help. I was able to study in UM and is one of the universities that offer a degree in what I’m passionate about, English and Linguistics. With a great study environment and supportive staff, UM is my choice.
