Founded in 1928, the Business & Hotel Management School (B.H.M.S.) is fuelled by a mission to provide excellent higher education for adults looking for success. Located in the heart of Lucerne, BHMS is a member of the Bénédict Switzerland group of schools. With more than 15,000 full-time and part-time students, the Benedict School is proudly one of Switzerland’s largest private educational organizations.
Two campuses stand out in particular: Bénédict Zürich and B.H.M.S Lucerne campus.
The Benedict Zurich campus is home to approximately 8,000 students yearly, with most of them studying languages, various ancillary health programs, information technology, security management, commerce apprenticeships and business management programs leading that offer prestigious Swiss Federal qualifications. The courses offered include craft, technical and management-based diplomas, a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Master of Arts degree and an MBA degree program.
With an estimated total of 900 students annually, the B.H.M.S. Lucerne campus focuses on preparing students for a successful managerial pathway in the hotel and hospitality industry. In collaboration with Robert Gordon University of Aberdeen in the UK, B.H.M.S. Lucerne campus offers a Bachelor of Arts degree, an MBA/PGD diploma and an MBA degree.

The main campus, B.H.M.S. City Campus, provides cozy student residences with a lounge, billiard area, study room, offices, and a campus restaurant (City Campus Restaurant). The 4 sophisticated study facilities are located in the heart of Lucerne city within 5 – 10 minutes of walking distance from each other.
There are five B.H.M.S. Student Residences in Guetschstrasse, Baselstrasse, Bernstrasse and Ladelistrasse. As B.H.M.S. is located in the heart of Lucerne, you will make the most out of your study abroad experience here as a student and tourist alike.
The accommodation provided is equipped with facilities such as bathroom, kitchenette, wardrobe, study areas, and Wi-Fi. The residences are directly linked to public transportation that is within a 10-minute walking distance from the main campus.
