Overview

This foundation is open to local citizens of Malaysia or international students and also available for all undergraduate courses except Bachelor of Medical Science, Doctor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Pharmacy. It provides an RM5,000 tuition fee waiver per semester, with maintaining grades.​

Monash High Achiever Award (for new students)​

  • GCE A-Levels: 3As​
  • STPM: 11 points​
  • Australian matriculation: 98​
  • Canadian matriculation: 95​
  • Monash University Foundation Year: 89%​
  • IB: 38​
  • UEC: 6A​

Monash High Achiever Award (for continuing students)​

  • A current student of Monash University Malaysia who has completed 2 semesters of study with 48 credit points.​
  • Have achieved average score of 80% and above from the 8 units completed.​
  • Fall within the top 1% of the school population.​

In order to retain this scholarship-​

  • Students must maintain the maintenance score stated in student’s offer letter.​
  • Students must enroll a full load of 24 credit points.​
  • Students are not permitted to change course.​
  • Students must complete the course within the normal duration.  No extensions will be permitted.​
  • Students are not permitted to take on other financial assistance at any point of student’s studies.​

Monash Pharmacy Excellence Scholarship​

  • Only new students enrolling into Monash University Malaysia.​
  • Must meet the minimum admission requirements (academic and English Language proficiency) for the course.​
  • Participation in non-academic pursuits, extra-curricular activities, and community engagement initiatives are of added advantage.​
  • Students must maintain the maintenance score stated in student’s offer letter.​
  • Students must enrol a full load of 24 credit points.​
  • Students are not permitted to change course.​
  • Students must complete the course within the normal duration.  No extensions will be permitted.​
  • Students are not permitted to take on other financial assistance at any point of student’s studies.​

Graduate Research Pathway Scholarship:​

  •  Applicants with a distinction average in a prior study from a recognized university and meet all other entry requirements are eligible to apply for the Scholarships. Selection of the scholarship will be based on academic achievement for each discipline as determined by Monash University Malaysia.​

Instructions

An application for Admission to the University will constitute an application for the scholarship.  All applications for admission consistent with the eligibility and selection criteria will be considered automatically for the scholarship.  All successful candidates will be offered the scholarship along with the Offer of Admission to Monash University Malaysia.

Closing dates:   Per course application deadline

If you are eligible, you will receive notice of the scholarship when you receive your letter of offer.  To accept the scholarship, you must follow the steps below before the lapse date that is specified in your letter of offer.

  1. Accept the offer to study at Monash University Malaysia, making sure you have completed all the relevant forms.
  2. Complete the Scholarship Acknowledgement Form
  3. Submit the forms to: Admissions Office, Monash University Malaysia, Building 2, Level 1, Jalan Lagoon Selatan, 47500 Bandar Sunway, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia
