Curriculum

Students can advance their careers in Early Learning and Childcare with our six-month program, learning the essentials of the industry which include child development, interpersonal relations, family studies, program management, and curriculum content. This program is beneficial to individuals interested to begin a health care career and to gain more knowledge in healthcare, as well as for those new to Canada, with prior knowledge or skills in healthcare as trained professionals.

Entry Requirements

International students are required to have the following qualifications:

  • A secondary school certificate or equivalent;
  • At least 19 years old (for mature applicants);
  • Has an Alberta Grade 12 English Language and Mathematics / Completion of the General Educational Development (GED) with a min. score of 450;
  • An equivalent Advanced Level Certificate for Adult Basic Education (ABE) in Mathematics;
  • Proof of subject-specific requirements for International transcripts.

English Language Requirement (IELTS) for non-English speaking countries:

  • Band 5.5 to 6.0
